FAQs

  • Your time is valuable — and researching a holiday can easily take days out of your life. That’s where I can help.

With deep knowledge of destinations around the world, I know the best places to go, where to stay, and what’s worth experiencing once you are there.

I design trips that reflect your interests, travel style, pace, and budget — whether that’s a family escape, an adventure, a food and wine journey, or a focus on art, sport, or wellness.

I take care of all the research and planning, leaving you with a curated selection of options that fit you perfectly.

If something unexpected happens - missed flights, cancellations, weather disruptions, or lost luggage — I’ll handle the logistics so you don’t have to spend hours on hold trying to fix it.

I often have access to preferential rates, added perks and upgrades through my network of trusted partners, as well as the experience to help you avoid costly mistakes.

  • I have planned trips all over the world, and if I haven’t personally been to a certain destination, I always have trusted partners on the ground or know people who have. So, no matter where you want to go, I’ve got plenty of knowledge and reliable connections at my fingertips to help make it amazing.

  • Like any service, my time and experience are valuable. I do charge a planning fee, which covers the time I spend getting to know your tastes, doing valuable research, sharing my ideas, tweaking and finalising the itinerary, building and pricing the adventure, executing and booking all aspects and using my trusted contacts to add in some final touches into the holiday, so that that feels truly special.

There is so much out there online, but real travel experience and genuine connections make all the difference, and that’s exactly where I come in.

I charge £500 GBP / EUR 570 / USD $650 per family / couple - for a complex travel itinerary visiting various locations, weaving in guides and special experiences, arranging the logistics of travel from each place, and covering all the finer details.

Alternatively, if it is just a single location trip with one hotel/villa/aspect, as well as transfers and my support, I charge £250 / EUR 285 / USD 335 per family / couple. This covers my time to research, plan, execute and support every part of your travel.

  • What’s included in the planning fee?

Expert knowledge: You’ll have full access to my experience and insider knowledge on travel, logistics, destinations, and hotels — plus my trusted network of suppliers, guides, and restaurant recommendations.

Exclusive perks: I have partnerships with many luxury hotel groups, which often means added benefits for you — things like complimentary upgrades, daily breakfast, early check-in, late check-out, and other special touches (depending on the hotel).

Personal support: I am here for you every step of the way — before, during and after your trip. Whether it’s a question, a change of plan, or something unexpected, you can always reach me by phone, email, or WhatsApp. There are no opening hours, or being placed on hold, you will always be able to contact me.

  • I find the best way to start planning is with a quick phone call (or a coffee if you’re local!) so I can get to know you and your travel preferences. From there, I’ll come back to you with some initial ideas and a draft itinerary. I can happily make changes, tweaks, and swaps — after all, I’m creating your ideal trip, so it needs to be 100% right. With your feedback, I’ll refine the details, and once you’re happy with the final plan, we’re ready to go!

This process depends on the complexity of the trip, and can take a few days or a few weeks to get it just right.

  • You can pay for your holiday via bank transfer, in a number of different currencies, please let me know your preference. Your holiday cost is fixed at the time of booking, in the currency of your choice.

If you prefer to pay the supplier / hotel directly in their own currency with your credit card, the exchange rates are subject to change and the costs are subject to your own card’s/bank’s charges.

  • I always recommend taking out comprehensive travel insurance as soon as you confirm your trip — it is such an important way to protect yourself if anything unexpected comes up, even before you travel. I can happily point you towards some trusted insurance companies to make it easier, although I am not able to book the policy on your behalf.
